This is the basic layout for any presentation where half of the slide is covered in picture & half with texts. This template is important for those wish to explain each element of of the main topic.

 Generally the image is the highlight of the slide or only a supporting character which acts a helping hand to the text. As the text is too much the image breaks the constant understanding of the text & sometimes image becomes self-explanatory. 

Nowadays it’s a new trend of writing something on the image, it is like overwriting. It is usually for those who want to give that quirky look to their presentation. There only 2 probabilities in this scenario:

1. Either it’s a plain image with gist of main topic  Or
2. Its bright, colourful image with only heading to be highlighted
